The Family of John Tickel Sr.

John Tickel Sr was first listed in the North Carolina tax records in the year 1779. He was again listed in 1780 with 230 acres of land, 2 horses, and 14 head of cattle. He died in Orange County, North Carolina between April and August of 1822 and was survived by his wife Mary and the following children:
