The author, Dr. Dave Auxier, is a retired veterinarian in Murphysboro, Illinois. He graduated from Berea College, Berea, Kentucky and obtained his professional degree from Auburn University. Dr. Auxier along with Judith Tickel Need of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, compiled a revision to the original 1995 book. The new book was published in the year 2000.

In his June, 1999 newsletter, Dave announced   the pricing and ordering information for the 2000 edition of the Auxier genealogy book. It is repeated here for the convenience of internet users.

Family members should be reminded that this will be the final genealogy publishing effort for Dave. Others, including Judith Need, the co-compiler for the 2000 edition, may choose to pick up the gauntlet. Publishing a work of this magnitude is a major undertaking but is eminently worthwhile in the satisfaction of creating a permanent record which hopefully will be useful to family members for many generations.

The price of the book is $120 per copy plus $7 shipping ($10 for two). Make checks payable to "Dave Auxier" and mail with your order request to 5612 Country Club Road Murphysboro, IL 62966.
